Coming from the land and influence of the Carpathian Mountains, this is Ariana лем Joy . Ariana (age 9) plays the violin and sings with her father Juraj (accordion and Cajon-kick-tambour-drum). Together, they re-imagine rich traditional music from Eastern Europe and render them into their own intriguing arrangements.
They will capture you with their joyous two-part vocal harmonies, catchy rhythms, and unique instrumentation: violin, accordion and “Cajon-kick-tambour-drum”. They have performed on numerous festivals with thousands in attendance. In November 2016, they released their debut EP album called, “Spivanocky Moji”, translated as “My Songs”.

BOHUSLAV "Bob" RYCHLIK
Bohuslav “Bob” Rychlik is internationally recognized player and teacher of fujara, koncovka and other overtone flutes. Among past performances you would find Library of Congress, Kennedy Center, St. Petersburg Russia, but also many Folk Festivals, Czech and Slovak events and small venues. He appeared in film, on Czech and American TV, Czech and Slovak Radio, and was teaching his new fujara and koncovka method in the USA and in the Czech Republic. He plays the traditional Slovak repertoire, but also composes for fujara, guitar, keyboard and other instruments. Member of selective Slovak traditional fujara player guild “Fujarasi”, maintains world database of fujara players, and with help of internet, connects together fujara makers and players of the world, and of Slovakia and Czech Republic. Besides his mission to teach the world to play fujara, he also enjoys finger picking guitar, playing banjo, and keyboard, and jamming blues on the overtone flutes with Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation at jams and performances in Washington D.C. He is working on his second CD and his new fujara instruction book. Bob was born in Czechoslovakia, where he has been playing guitar, banjo and piano since his childhood, and later played in bands, organized country and blues festivals, and was teaching classical guitar in State Music School, later he continued teaching guitar and banjo after arriving in Maryland, where he has been living since 1984.
