Dear Friends and Lovers of Folklore,
Friends of Slovak Folklore invite you to join us on May 16, 2015 to celebrate 5th Anniversary of Czech, Moravian and Slovak Folklore Festival. Our folklore group Karicka, children groups Podkovicka, and Slunicko, youth group Devin, and Slovak folklore band from Orange County prepared for you folklore program Year in the Village with folklore traditions, dances, and singing. We will take you on our journey from Spring’s grazing sheep all the way to the Winter traditions. You will be also witnessing Slovak wedding, and Christening. All that will be accompanied by beautiful dances and songs from Slovak, Moravian and Czech regions. We are looking forward to see you there.
As a guests, this year we have Polish group Polonez, Anton Shekerjiev, and Poe Street Bluegrass. We prepared for you also Fashion Show of traditional dresses, fun for kids and adults, and School of Folk Dancing. You will have chance to taste delicious food, pastries, drink Czech beer, vine and Slovak Tatracaj.
